In this blog post I am going to share with you a Quinceanera photo shoot with Damas and Chambelanes at the Junipero Serra Museum in San Diego.
If you are looking for a nice place to take your Quinceanera pictures in San Diego, Presidio Park is a great idea. It is located in Old Town San Diego at 2811 Jackson Street.
If you are driving on the I-8 going east and look to your right at Old Town you will see a big white building on top of a hill, that’s the Junipero Serra Museum.
It is the perfect spot if you are looking for a location that is not usually as crowded as Balboa Park and there is usually plenty of parking available.
I usually start at those stairs with a beautiful view of the green areas on the back.
The Spanish Revival-style structure offers the most beautiful backdrops for your pictures, I love using this spot and the arch on the back.
INCLUDING DAMAS AND CHAMBELANES
During this Quinceanera photo shoot with Damas and Chambelanes at the Junipero Serra Museum in San Diego it was imperative to include Damas and Chambelanes.
On the day of your Quinceanera your Chambelanes and Damas will go with you to your Quinceanera photo shoot, where we will take pictures of the whole court.
It is also important to include your Chambelanes in some of your pictures, this Quinceanera had 4 Chambelanes plus the main Chamberlain so a total of 5.
They wore a black suit and a pink bow tie and vest to match the Quinceanera’s dress.
We of course need to include the Damas on your Quinceanera pictures as well.
The damas wore a beautiful ivory dress, not the exact same color as the Quinceanera and I think it looked so good.
The dress was a short flowy dress and they all wore matching shoes.
And as important as it is to get the formal pictures of everyone looking at the camera, I love capturing the whole court having fun!
I usually ask them to do whatever pose they want to do and the results are like this
Since we are on the funny pictures poses, why not do a funny picture with a gorgeous background like this one! You can see the Juniper Serra Museum on the background.
INCLUDING CUTE QUINCE DETAILS
A super cute detail that my Quinceanera decided to add was wearing cowboy boots for the photo shoot, so of course I asked her to get some pictures showing off her boots.
Perfect example to show you that the most important part of your Quinceanera is to make it yours!
