We planned this photo shoot and locations to perfectly go with the elegant pink dress the Quinceanera had chosen.
The locations we decided on were actually 2 of my favorite spots: Balboa Park and Coronado Island.
QUINCEANERA PICTURES WITH AN ELEGANT PINK DRESS AT BALBOA PARK
I recommended starting out at Balboa Park so we could have that beautiful soft lighting and make it on time to get the sunset at the beach at Coronado Island.
QUINCEANERA PICTURES AT THE ORGAN PAVILION
The Organ Pavilion is usually a great spot to start because the limo can easily drop you off right there so you don’t have to walk too much.
One thing I absolutely love about the Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park is the gorgeous architecture, which was inspired by Spanish Baroque and Colonial architecture; just like the most beautiful buildings in Mexico.
QUINCEANERA PICTURES BY THE LILY POND
The lily pond is a gorgeous spot at Balboa Park, my favorite spot is the one you can see in the pictures.
Because you can see the lily pond, the beautiful buildings on the back and I thought it would be perfect background for these Quinceanera pictures with an elegant pink dress.
Around the same area you can find those beautiful arches that are the perfect frame for a portrait.
QUINCEANERA PICTURE AT THE BEA EVENSON FOUNTAIN
The final spot for this photo shoot was the iconic Bea Evenson Fountain. At this time the sun was shining and was the perfect spot for those pictures.
I thought it would be super cute to have a couple of pictures of the Quinceanera sitting down, to show off that elegant pink dress.
Little girls usually get super excited when they see a Quinceanera wearing a dress like this, they think they look like a princess and often ask to get a picture taken with them.
QUINCEANERA PICTURES WITH AN ELEGANT PINK DRESS AT CORONADO
The next location was Coronado Island, by the Ferry landing. This spot is the iconic and traditional spot where you can admire he city of San Diego on the background.
We started out on the green area and we got a couple of variations.
Of course a landscape picture showing the elegant pink dress spread out when the Quinceanera was sitting down and having the amazing view of the city on the background was a must have picture.
We moved along to the sandy beach right next to this spot. The sun was starting to set and I knew this was going to be a great opportunity to get amazing pictures with that soft airy light.
The Quinceanera decided to pair the dress with boots and stay comfy, I took a couple of pictures showing the boots off.
I always like including family in the Quinceanera pictures, specially mom. Here is a series of pictures that I love doing with Quinceaneras.

At this time I noticed the sun was on the perfect spot and we had the beautiful orange sunset tones.
Sunset pictures are my signature Quinceanera pictures, I love them and I think the sunset colors went along beautifully with this elegant pink dress.
In my 19 years of experience as a Quinceanera photographer I have learnt to master lighting for sunset pictures, it’s my absolute favorite!
This Quinceanera is the perfect example to show that you don’t have to have a big Quinceanera party.
She had an intimate celebration at a nice restaurant with her closest family and friends.
This is perfect because she still got the once in a lifetime pictures and the celebration that was the perfect fit for her and her family.
