In the blog post I will explain to you what a pre Quinceanera photo shoot is and the benefits of doing one.
A pre Quinceanera Photo Shoot is a photo shoot we do before your Quinceanera, you can wear your Quinceanera dress or a different outfit and we will go to the location of your choice.

Thank you for helping me to create more free content for you!
The main goal of doing a pre Quinceanera Photo Shoot is to get a picture that we will retouch and print to present at the reception.
Timeframe
You can decide if you want to wear your Quinceanera dress or a different outfit, the outfit you select will determine when we do the photo shoot.
I recommend booking your photo shoot no later than 1 month before the event so we have enough time to edit your pictures, you select your favorite one, retouching it and printing it for the Quinceanera day. If your Quinceanera dress is ready months before the event or if you are wearing a different outfit, go ahead and book your photo shoot a couple of months ahead of time.
Even if you decide not to wear your Quinceanera dress, I recommend adding special touched to your regular outfit. For example, a crown would be a great addition to the outfit. Check this one out!
I highly recommend bringing props to your photo shoot, I have had Quinceaneras bringing a small cake, cupcakes, balloons as you can see in the picture above. Just something else that we can use to give more variety to your pictures!

Benefits of doing a pre Quinceanera photo shoot
1 – Showing off your amazing pictures at your Reception
Like I mentioned before the main goal of doing a pre Quinceanera Photo shoot is to get one picture that we will present at the entrance of the reception. You can also use these pictures to make a photo guestbook.
Some Halls have screens all around and you can also have your pictures on the screens, in my opinion this looks pretty awesome so if your Hall has screens definitely take advantage of that feature.
2 – Get to work with your photographer before your Quinceanera
It is extremely important that you feel comfortable with your photographer because when you fell uncomfortable it will show on your pictures. If you usually feel awkward in front of a camera and don’t really know how to pose, doing a pre Quinceanera photo shoot is a great idea, you will get used to being in front of the camera and your photographer will explain to you what to do and will direct you during the photo shoot.
3 – Wear your dress before your Quinceanera
Your Quinceanera dress is very different to what you normally wear. A Quinceanera dress is bigger and heavier and just getting in the dress can sometimes be a challenge. Doing a Pre Quinceanera Photo Shoot will give you the chance to put on your dress before the Quinceanera day, see how long it takes to put it on and how you will feel walking around wearing it.
4 – Hair and Makeup Test
When you do a Pre Quinceanera Photo Shoot I highly recommend getting your hair and make up done professionally. This is the perfect opportunity to see how your hair and makeup will look, how you will feel during the day and how it will come out in the pictures.
Hopefully this blog post helped you to understand what a pre Quinceanera photo shoot is and decide if you want to do one for your own Quinceanera.
