TOP 5 CATHOLIC CHURCHES FOR A QUINCEANERA MASS IN SAN DIEGO

Today I have for you the Tops 5 catholic churches for a Quinceanera mass or ceremony in San Diego, CA.

There are so many beautiful churches in San Diego, the following ones are the most popular ones and some of my personal favorites.

I will also suggest locations close to the church for your Quinceanera photo shoot before or after the Quinceanera mass.

Our Lady of Guadalupe

This is a beautiful and cozy church located in Logan Heights very close to the Coronado bridge and Downtown San Diego.

This church is dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe, it is very popular and it is a very meaningful church for some families in San Diego. Because, this is the church where they have celebrated many sacraments like a baptism or first communion.

There is a large image of the Virgen de Guadalupe in the center and that is where you will offer your fresh flowers bouquet to the Virgin of Guadalupe.

If you have your Quinceanera mass here, you can do the Quinceanera photo shoot at Balboa Park or Coronado.

Sain Jude Shrine of the West

This church is located a bit father to the south close to the intersection of the I-15 and I-5. It is a really large church and it is also one of the most popular ones.

I personally like this one because at one of the masses we were working at the sacristan gave me and my whole team a saint card. My dad kept it and he liked going in before the quinceanera mass to pray. That is the reason why it holds a special place in my heart.

A really nice thing about this church is that they also have a Virgin of Guadalupe on the side of the altar so you can still offer your fresh flowers bouquet to Our Lady of Guadalupe.

If you do your Quinceanera ceremony at Saint Jude you could do your Quinceanera photo shoot at Coronado Island, Seaport Village or Balboa Park.

Saint Joseph Cathedral

It is located in the heart of Downtown San Diego and it is one of my favorite churches in San Diego because of its Spanish colonial architecture. If you like colonial style buildings, you will love this church.

It is a really large church and as soon as I walked it reminded me to those huge, monumental churches in Mexico. Maybe that is the reason why I like it so much.

At the center and top on the front of the church there is a wonderful stained glass circular window and there are arches all around.

If you look to the back of the church you will see another beautiful stained glass circular window and a magnificent organ on the second story.

Another beautiful thing is the attention to detail in all the wooden details from the ceiling to the floors.

It’s right in the heart of San Diego so you are minutes away from wonderful locations for your Quinceanera photo shoot like Balboa Park, Seaport Village or even Coronado.

Saint Patrick

This is a beautiful small church located in the heart of North Park. One thing that I really like about this church are all the wooden details all around from the beams to the ceiling.

I love this church for a Quinceanera mass because it is very open around the altar so we can move around without interfering.

They also have a Virgin of Guadalupe image on the side so you can still offer your fresh flowers bouquet to the Virgin.

If you do your Quinceanera mass in Saint Patrick, Balboa Park is a perfect location for your Quinceanera photo shoot.

Saint Michael

This church is located in Paradise Hills, very close to Bonita, so if you are having your Quinceanera party somewhere in Chula vista this church is closer.

It is a very big and open church with a more modern construction style.

One particular detail about this church is that there’s a beautiful fountain right outside and the gardens are very well taken care of some we can take some pictures of the Quinceanera with her Damas and Chambelanes before or after the Quinceanera ceremony.
